Welcome to ACT Backflow Services

Servicing Backflow Prevention Devices throughout the ACT and surrounds.

What is a Backflow Prevention Device?

A device to prevent the reverse flow of water from a potentially polluted source into a potable water supply system.

Why you require Backflow expertise?

If you are concerned about preventing Backflow at your property, it is important to seek advice from a plumber who is properly qualified in Backflow Prevention and testing.

As Backflow Prevention Devices have become a legal requirement, the need for specialist Backflow installers, testers and inspectors has grown. Realising the increased demand Dean Anderson has created a specialised division within his business to service your Backflow Prevention Device requirements.

ACT Backflow Services sole focus is Backflow Prevention, Backflow Installation and Backflow Testing.

Backflow Prevention Devices require regular 12 monthly testing as per Australian Standards (AS 2845.3-2010).

How do you get your device tested?

ACT Backflow Services has an accredited licensed plumber (in both the ACT & NSW) who can test all your Backflow Prevention Devices.

After testing your Backflow Prevention Device,  a copy of the Backflow Prevention Device inspection and maintenance report will be provided to you for your records.

A report will also be sent to ACTPLA or the relevant authority for that jurisdiction within the required time frame to ensure ACT Backflow Services comply with (AS 2845.3-2010).
